Volunteer Work Day!

Spirit Ride Equine Therapeutic Riding Center Needs You! Bring your Work Gloves, Paint Brushes, Friends and a Giving Spirit to help this brand new Non-Profit get ready for the inaugural Fall Session. No horse experience needed – just a helpful and caring heart. (Volunteers younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Spirit Ride is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that serves the special needs communities of the seven northwestern North Carolina counties of Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey. Located in the scenic community of Matney (between historic Valle Crucis and Banner Elk), the Spirit Ride facility is the perfect setting to replenish the soul and lift one’s spirits.
